Extensive road resurfacing and reconstruction works are set to begin throughout West Dunbartonshire. The works follow the Council’s decision to significantly invest in the network as part of the budget setting in March.

Part of this additional funding will be focussed on specific routes with approximately £3 million invested in the A813 (Bonhill to Balloch) and A811 (Balloch to Gartocharn) routes.

Due to the carriageway layout, as well as operational and Health and Safety requirements, the closure and partial closure of these routes is unavoidable during these essential works.

Advance notification of works will be displayed at key points in the affected areas
